with a full week of photography ahead of us, we planned to spend some time inland – away from the comforts, cell service, and *gasp* the internet. our friend, brett woitunski of campover, generously offered his project desert home in joshua tree. It was just what we were looking for – not a neighbor in sight, running water, warm beds, and a fire pit to discuss the highs and lows of whatever it was that was consuming our brains at the time.
the following week was expectedly productive and focused. it's easy to forget how important this change in environment is in life because we can’t quantify the value of it. but what we do know, is when we do, we wake up with a new perspective on the same sun that slips through the windows of our home every day.
